I’m gonna rant a bit now, mmk?

There’s a new Buffy movie that’s gonna be made.
Good news, right?
Fucking wrong.
See, it’s being made without Joss Whedon.
He has nothing to do with it.
Who is making it, you may be asking?
Some bitch named Fran Kizui.
Yeahhhh…wtfever.

For those of you who have no idea, Joss wrote the screenplay for the original Buffy flick.
It was his idea, then that Kizui person came along, and was basically like…
“Oh, well…this is good, but we’re going to change it to this instead.”
Anyone who has seen the original BtVs movie knows it’s horrid, and if you disagree, go fuck off somewhere.

Well, Joss basically took what was his brainchild, and made what is, in my opinon, the best show that’s ever been created.
Now that Kizui bitch is wanting more money, so she’s like “LET’S REMAKE THE EXACT SAME MOVIE!”
WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO REMAKE SUCH A BAD FLICK?!

…okay, here’s the deal.
No one, and I mean fucking no one from the show’s cast will be in this remake.
Strike two.
Strike one being that Joss has nothing to do with it, of course.

Strike three?
Well.
Here’s a direct quote from Anthony Stewart Head (Giles).

“I wouldn’t want to see it, no. The Kuzuis [Directors] didn’t do a great job on the movie the first time around. It was Joss’ script at the age of 19, but they changed a lot of it. They said, ‘Look, we know best and we know how to make this movie,’ and it became quite schlocky and high camp. It would be madness to do (the movie) without Whedon. It may be a bit like watching a car wreck.”

If Anthony Stewart Head is boycotting, I think I may follow his lead.
He makes a very valid point.
